How often do Australians use cannabis?
Among Australians who used cannabis in the past 12 months, the largest proportion (32%) used once or twice a year. In 2022-23, approximately one in six (18%) used every day, which has significantly increased from 14% in 2019.
Among Australians who used cannabis in the past 12 months 18% used every day, 21% used once per week or more, 12% used about once per month, 17% used every few months, and 32% used once or twice per year.
